- The person who starts the application is called an owner within the Submittable system. Only the owner will be able to see and click the BLUE SUBMIT BUTTON.

- Required fields are marked with a red asterisk and applicants must complete those required fields in order to move to the next section.

The North Tahoe Chamber is thrilled to announce the commencement of our 2027 Event Funding Sponsorship program. Starting this year, we are holding one application cycle; with events previously funded for at least two years being invited to a condensed application and all new events or events funded for at least one year will complete the standard application.
Submission is for events scheduled to take place at North Lake Tahoe between January 1 - December 31, 2027.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: September 15, 2026, at 11:59 pm
A total of $650,000 has been earmarked to support events in 2027 throughout the North Tahoe Region. We will fund up to $50,000 for previously funded events, and sponsorship will not exceed 50% of the applicant event's budget. These funds are generated by the North Lake Tahoe Tourism Business Improvement District (NLT-TBID) to foster events that contribute to community vitality, environmental stewardship, and economic health in the region.

The Chamber is moving to a more data-driven review and scoring process this cycle, with staff conducting a detailed, criteria-based evaluation of every submission. Combined with a smaller number of funded events overall, approximately 35, compared to 49 approved out of 56 submissions in 2026, applicants should expect this to be a considerably more competitive cycle than in years past.
